It's a release candidate, meaning it's essentially the finished product. The only limitation is a time limit. It was actually an easy decision for me to make. 1) I don't have anything of value on my netbook and 2) the Samsung NC10 has a really handy backup feature that lets me recall the factory setting, including Windows XP installation whenever I want. I never try betas or anything like that when it comes to Operating Systems. I suppose I was discouraged in the past by the hundreds of people who would complain about all the problems they encounter. So many people can't seem to grasp that "beta" means IT'S NOT FINISHED YET. Regardless, I do upgrade usually when they see the light of day. Been running Vista Ultimate since launch, no problems at all, and I intend to hit up Windows 7 as soon as it's available in stores. Should be nice, I've heard that Windows 7 may come in a USB Form, which would be wonderful for those of us with Netbooks 'n' whatnot.
