If they are being cheap or annoying - just fight fire with fire and be cheap too. One thing I learn from online battles is that if they keep pissing you off with air fire balls and what not - they won't expect grabbing as much and you can solely win a match through grabs. This pisses them off too. Also, I find that Akuma isn't as good as you think he is. He is actually extremely weak and takes considerable amount of time recovering from certain attacks. His ultimate can be easily countered through a shoryuken, a jump over the person, moving back, a fireball, OR just remain lying on the ground if knocked down previously. Everything in this game has a certain counter to it that you need to figure out. I prefer using Blanka and unless the opponent is any good, I would resort to grabs or simple moves to end it quickly and not waste time - IF online. I have also used Chun-LI and though she is hard to use at first - you can become amazing with her too. For example when you say she is weak in the air - but did you know that she can do grabs in the air? I do agree with you on your thoughts about the Ken users and Sagat users and their cheapness... but in all honesty, they are not too hard to counter. Zangief also does seriously amounts of damage in the least amount of attacks.... but he is slow and easy to beat with lower kicks and shoryukens even. I feel you’re just making excuses. She basically forces you to play mind games, rather than rely on force. Nothing feels better than baiting a scrubby Ken or Sagat player. Ive red the play guides on Chun-li and Guile, And yeah, they are pretty boring to play as, cause of their "charge" attacks. Its a real shame. They 2 characters that I do find really cheap though, Are Zangief and Blanka. I stopped using Chun-Li regularly and decided to try out some of the other characters, Sagat being one of them. I was able to beat Arcade on Harder with him without using continues (even against Seth) and earned myself a silver trophy. I even took him online because it's really hard to lose with him, except against a player who actually knows what he's doing. I noticed. I didn't understand, i played and got everyone, had a great time doing it until my first match online. I am a huge gouken fan. I remember practicing hours against the ultra hard computer perfecting the counters only to go online and......THROW FIREBALLS?! I mean come on! where is the fun in fighting against a constantly airborne Akuma spamming fireballs? LAME!!! I was pissed, whatever...on to the next match, after waiting and waiting, finally another match! YES he picked Abel, someone who likes to fight up close. or just roll all over the screen and throw you non-stop. no biggie, at least the match was interesting, and then after 15 minutes of waiting i get a Ken match, nothing but dragon punches and cross up combos, great match, down to the last hit i pulled it off, my first online victory! bittersweet, now i fight a Ryu, and get fireballed to death. in the third round i nail the shin-shoryuken, one hit left for each and what happens? fireball fight! he throws a million until he gets the EX fireball and throws 3 of those...WHAT A BITCH ASS MOVE.
