I’m sick

Bleh. Throat… hurting! Can’t… speak.. *dies*
Our company has a rule about sick leave. If you ever get sick you need to get a medical certificate from a doctor to prove that you’re not making it up. I’ve been mostly ignoring this rule but today I decided to go. My throat have been pretty bad throughout the weekend and I spent my entire saturday lying in bed.. which kind of sucks. So I figured seeing a doctor couldn’t hurt.
Medicare appears to be privatized here in Singapore, which isn’t something I’m very used to. I’m used to having the government deal with (and partially pay for) my medical problems. So I guess I was a bit reluctant to go there.. but I went.
The doctor I talked to was nice and he gave me a bag of pills and cough syrup, so I guess all my fears were unfounded. Hopefully the nasty pain in the back of my throat will go away soon (._.)
