Thailand was fu**ing awesome
I had so much fun and saw so many different things in Thailand. I will definetly go there again sometime.
So we went to Phuket, or more specifically Patong beach. We stayed at the Burasari Resort and because it was low-season we got a lot for very little money.
I’m not going to explain everything in too much detail, but just summarize each day and then post a whole bunch of pictures after the break.
Day #1: Departure from Singapore.
We spent the night walking around the area around the hotel. Walked into a couple of clubs, had a few beers.
Day #2: Snakes and stuff
Michelle and Dan found this guy called Nong, who would drive us around Phuket all day for almost no money at all. So he took us to a snake farm and we caught a snake show. It was really cool and fun to watch. The big finale was the king cobra. That thing was huge XD
Then we drove some ATV’s in a jungle track. That was pretty fun.
We ended the day with dinner and shopping I think.
Day #3: Phi phi island!
This was the best day. We went out to phi phi island which basically is a tropical paradise. Actually we went to a couple of islands. We got to do snorkeling in waters with lots of fish and corals. We had lunch on the phi phi and then we went out to see the beach from “The Beach”. We also did some more snorkeling right outside it (no I didn’t see any sharks). Then we went back and saw the sunset over open water. We ended the day with a nice full body massage (no not that kind of massage).
Day #4: Last day
The last day we took it really easy compared to the previous days. We slept in, did some more shopping, walked the beach and swam a bit before heading off to the airport.
Btw, some of you might wondering why I would have my vacation in another country than Singapore. Well.. thanks to indonesian forrest fires, this is how singapore looks at the moment. Lots and lots of haze.
