Got a bank account
Today I took a big chunk of my wad o’ bills to the bank and converted them into digital bits of my new bank account.
I was told by Dan to get an account at UOB, because it’s the same bank that the company uses and that means I won’t have to wait for the salary to transfer.
So this morning, I was walking around looking for the bank, with some general directions. I found all the other banks. OCBC.. Citibank.. the Unified Overseas Bank and I thought: “Hmm.. I must be close”

“Wait a minute. U-O-B? Oooh!”
I’m so dense. I blame the heat. It’s super hot out today. My only salvation came from a vending machine that had drinks for 80 cents, which was exactly the amount of change I had on me.
